Arete Health ("Arete Health," "we," "us," or "our") operates aretehealthmd.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Arete Health provides health coaching and educational content. Nothing on this site creates a physician-patient relationship.

Information you give us. When you subscribe to our email list, we collect your email address. When you book a session or contact us, we collect the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, and information about your goals.
Free tools and calculators. Our calculators run in your web browser. The numbers you enter, such as weight, height, or medication details, are used to calculate your results on screen. They are not sent to us or stored by us.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic usage data through cookies and similar technologies, such as pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, and the site that referred you.
How we use information
We use information to send the emails you signed up for, including educational content and information about our coaching services; to respond to your questions and schedule sessions; to understand how the site is used so we can improve it; and to protect the site from spam and abuse.

Service providers
We use trusted vendors who process information on our behalf to run this site: Squarespace (website hosting, forms, and site analytics), MailerLite (email list management and delivery), and Google (Google Analytics for site usage and reCAPTCHA for spam protection). We use double opt-in, so you will be asked to confirm your subscription before you receive emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.

Please do not send detailed medical information through website forms or email. Our website and email tools are not designed to store medical records.
