This free sugar intake calculator adds up what you typically eat and drink, compares it to the daily limits from the American Heart Association and the World Health Organization, and builds a simple plan to help you cut back. It takes about two minutes.

Limits: AHA added sugar limit of about 25 g/day for women and 36 g/day for men; WHO free sugars under 10% of daily calories, ideally under 5%; BMJ umbrella review (Huang et al., 2023) suggests under 25 g/day and fewer than one sugary drink per week.
